Grinnell Triple Threat
Take your spot on center stage and get ready to shine!
Grinnell Triple Threats offers students in grades 3-5 and 6-8 a chance to discover and hone their musical theater talents, build confidence, and develop their love for the stage in a supportive team setting.
What to Expect
This class combines singing, dancing, and acting, and will help students develop skills in vocal performance, musical theater dance, stage presence, and character development.
Each class will include:
- Drama games to break the ice between participants and help build stage presence
- Vocal warm-ups and group singing focusing on age-appropriate technique, projection, and confidence
- Movement and choreography that builds a foundation of standard dance steps for beginners, with leadership and solo opportunities for more experienced dancers
- Teamwork activities to emphasize that collaboration and trust are at the heart of every great performance!
Performance Opportunities
Students will learn popular musical theatre pieces, working with our expert instructors to prepare both the music and choreography. At the end of the class,
students will present a showcase for families and friends.
Who Should Attend
This class is designed to be welcoming and engaging for beginners and more experienced performers alike!
Instructors will emphasize a team-based approach that makes learning FUN and builds community among participants.
Two groups (grades 3-5 and 6-8) will work independently during rehearsals and come together for certain games and activities.

Classes will be held at the Grinnell UCC, 902 Broad Street, in the downstairs multi-purpose space ("Friendship Hall") and in the main-level classroom (formerly the UCC Preschool).
The Grinnell UCC building is fully accessible.

$325 (payable in monthly installments) covers 10 weeks of professional instruction, all necessary materials, and the end-of-session performance. There will be no hidden fees or surprises!

Comfortable clothing in which you can move, and tennis shoes or sneakers. No high heels or flip-flops. If you choose to wear a skirt or dress, please wear athletic shorts or leggings underneath.

Rock out at Rock Band Camp!

Rock Band Camp is a week-long day camp for 5-8 year olds to form bands, write songs, and play instruments! You don't want to miss out!
