3rd-8th graders

At Grinnell Greenroom, campers learn how to be a well rounded theatre-maker.  While campers spend significant time in music, dance, and staging rehearsal, a great portion of their week is dedicated to the behind-the-scenes elements of theatre, including scenic design, costume design, lighting design, stage makeup, and so much more! 

By the end of the week, campers have collaboratively devised and designed an original musical from start to finish, and they get to share it with family and friends in a final showcase!

This program is process-oriented, non-competitive, and open to all – those who are brand new to musical theatre and seasoned performers alike.

ages 5-8

Using music games, teamwork, and creativity, the rockstars in this program form bands and write original songs. At the end of the week, their bands make their debut in a concert for family and friends.  

Rock Band Camp is perfect for kids who have taken MiniKeys,  Jam Band 101 or Music Together, who are brand-new to music classes! Through games, songs, and hands-on instrument play, Rock Band Camp nurtures creativity, kindness, and friendship in a musical environment!

Every day will also include an outdoor excursion, crafts and other activities, and a mid-morning snack.
